VOLUNTEERS are wanted to help visitors at Cotswold Water Park.
Cotswold Lakes Trust is looking for people to help out at the Information Point at the Gateway Centre.
They are holding a special event from 2-4pm on June 25 for anyone interested.
There will be an introduction to what’s involved, a guided lakeside walk and refreshments.
The Trust is keen to meet people who know the Cotswold Water Park well and would enjoy helping visitors to get the best out of it.
Former headteacher Peter Jay has been volunteering for 15 years.
“We deal with all sorts,” he said.
“It’s a great way to meet people and help them, and to support a local charity.”
Full training will be provided for anyone who decides to give it a go.
If you can’t make the welcome event on June 25 but are still interested, email Davina.Stirland@cotswoldlakestrust.org
