The remains of the car
Black smoke was visible all over the village of Crudwell last week after a car caught fire.
The blaze involved a Mercedes parked on the driveway of a house in Brookside and occurred around 5.30pm last Wednesday (April 27).
"The black smoke was visible all over the village and attracted a great deal of attention," a witness said.
Residents also received messages from Bristol Water saying their water pressure and possibly colour could be affected while the fire service was putting out the blaze.
