A Malmesbury man failed to stop at the scene of a crash where another person was injured.
Greg Cook, 28, pleaded guilty to charges of driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after a road accident.
The incident occurred on the A429 in Malmesbury on August 8 last year.
Cook failed to stop his VW Golf after a crash which caused extensive front end damage to a Mercedes A220 and left the driver with a knee injury.
He was given 10 points on his driving licence and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
Cook, of Sir Bernard Lovell Road, was also ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £95 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service after his case was heard at Swindon Magistrates' Court on March 9.
