A Malmesbury man has been banned from the road after being caught drink-driving.
Christopher Young, of Monks Park, Milbourne, has been disqualified from driving for 13 months after pleading guilty to the offence.
He had 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath after driving a Vauxhall Astra on Grange Lane, Malmesbury, on February 22. The legal limit is 35.
The 65-year-old was also fined £311 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service after the case was heard at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, March 29.
His driving ban will be reduced by 13 weeks if a drink-drive rehabilitation course is completed.
