A Malmesbury woman has been banned from the road after being caught drink-driving.
Elizabeth Hibbard, of Arches Lane, has been disqualified from driving for 14 months after pleading guilty to the offence and also to obstructing a constable in the execution of their duty.
She had 53 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath after driving a Land Rover Discovery on Arches Lane on January 7. The legal limit is 35.
The 50-year-old was also fined £230 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £38 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service after the case was heard at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, March 29.
Her driving ban will be reduced by 14 weeks if a drink-drive rehabilitation course is completed.
Hibbard was fined an additional £153 for the charge of obstructing/resisting a constable in the execution of their duty.
