Lechlade Music Festival will return this year, from May 27-29.

The 10th edition of the event will take place following a two-year break as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Alexandra Burke and The Boomtown Rats have been announced as Saturday and Sunday headliners. They are among more than 100 artists who will perform across five stages.

This year sees the addition of a second arena, a silent disco and a cabaret stage, featuring internationally acclaimed artists along with local talent.

Friday sees tribute acts Guns or Roses and JK as Robbie Williams take to the stage, while the introduction of the MusicLab Open Mic night will give would-be performers the chance for a slot at the festival.

There will also be workshops and a wide variety of stalls.

Local businesses supporting the event include Renishaw, Zapp Active, GS Yuasa, Edward Bays Ltd, Lechlade Town Council and Pappillon Print. The Royal International Air Tattoo will sponsor the workshop tents.

Tickets can be bought at lechladefestival.co.uk or at Lechlade Post Office. Children 16 and under go free.
