A beautician from Moreton is in the running for a national award.
Connie Harris, stylist at Colin John Hair, has been shortlisted in the UK Hair and Beauty Awards.
Up for the Rising Star award, Connie is just at the beginning of a career she is deeply passionate about.
She said: “I truly love my industry and can’t wait to grow and progress going forwards, getting to the finals for the Rising Star award at the Hair and Beauty Awards is a massive achievement for me and means so much! I’m so excited to see what happens next!”
She added: “The hair and beauty industry has been a passion of mine. What I love most about it is the ability to be creative; to create a look that can transform someone’s hair and how they feel.
“Every hairstyle that you do can be different and offers a blank canvas for my inventiveness. When doing a client’s hair, I always see it as an opportunity to be artistic and to showcase my talent.”
