National Hunt jockey Sam Twiston-Davies has been fined £1,000 for driving carelessly in a Porsche car on a country road near his Cotswolds home.
Twiston Davies, of Grange Hill Farm in Naunton, was charged with driving a black Porsche Cayenne without due care and attention in Guiting Power, Gloucestershire.
The incident happened on on July 11 last year, on the unclassified road between the Cotswold Farm Park and the village of Barton
At a hearing on January 5 Magistrates at Cheltenham found the charge against the 29-year-old rider proved under the single justice procedure.
He was fined £1,000 and ordered to pay £110 costs and a £100 Victim Services surcharge and the magistrates endorsed five penalty points on his licence.
The magistrates granted him till February 2 to pay the total of £1,210.
Twiston-Davies, son of trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies, has ridden 470 winners in the last five seasons, with total earnings of £6.7million.
One of the highlights of his career was riding the 2015 Queen Mother Champion Chase winner 'Dodging Bullets.'
