MORE than 50 senior citizens were treated to a Christmas lunch at a garden centre, while raising money for charity.
Fifty-one residents from Risinghurst, Sandhills and Headington came together at Haddenham Garden Centre in Aylesbury.
A raffle was organised by the garden centre, raising £87 for Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
Barbara Naylor, Risinghurst and Sandhills parish councillor, organised the trip and said: “The food was wonderful and a great time together was had by all.”
The day was subsidised by the local senior friendship club and Oxford city councillor, Chewe Munkonge, with a lesser charge paid by those attending.
