A 26-year-old woman from Slough was sentenced to three months in prison for racist abuse.

Georgia Bayes, 26, pled guilty at Berkshire Magistrates' Court on November 15 to using abusive or insulting words to harass two women.

The crime, which took place on July 15, 2020 was “racially aggravated,” leading the judge to add a month to her sentence.

The judge’s decision to impose a 12 week sentence was also informed by the defendants record of previous offending.

In 2020, she let kidnappers use her apartment for £40 and was sentenced to 21 months behind bars for false imprisonment.

Bayes, of Lynch Hill Lane, was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £128 for her most recent offence.
