A Cirencester company has taken over the running of a luxury holiday resort at Cotswold Water Park

Property management firm Barnsdales has been appointed as the new managing agent of Waters Edge - a collection of holiday homes around the 28-acre Lake 10.

The resort currently consists of 27 three and four-bedroom properties, although there are a further 15 plots up for sale.

Barnsdales’ appointment is due to a successful tender bid. The resort will be managed from the company’s Cirencester office by residential block manager, Louise Ballinger.

“This is a fantastic moment for Barnsdales and I’m delighted that we’ve been chosen as the property managers of this distinguished development," she said.

"We’ll be responsible for the communal areas of Waters Edge, bringing our friendly and professional service to this luxury waterside resort.

“We don’t foresee any challenges in terms of maintenance or management, so our initial focus will be on ensuring that we build trust among residents and visitors. I’m confident that with our ethos and expertise, we can add value to this remarkable retreat.”

Barnsdales established its office in Cirencester in 2018 with the acquisition of David Allberry & Company, a property consultancy practice which began in 1979.

Jason Barnsdale, managing director of Barnsdales, added: “This is another impressive instruction for Barnsdales and a great example of how we’re expanding our presence in the region.

"Our Cirencester office has been growing well over the past couple of years, and that’s all down to the hard work and experience of the team on the ground - and now, on the water’s edge!”
