A boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car near Quedgeley yesterday (Wednesday).
At approximately 8.20am a teenage boy was walking across the road near the Waterwells roundabout on the A38, when he was hit by a dark-coloured vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene and the boy was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with a suspected leg injury.
A 44-year-old man from Gloucester has since been arrested in connection with the incident and a vehcile has been seized.
Police would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who was driving in the area at the time and has dashcam footage.
