Cirencester Quakers are taking part in a pilgrimage ahead of COP26 - the United Nations Climate Change Conference being held in Scotland later this year.
This pilgrimage is one of many taking place nationwide as Quakers walk from meeting house to meeting house, gathering in Glasgow in the autumn.
Cirencester Quakers’ pilgrimage will start at Cirencester Quaker Meeting House each Sunday and will continue in stages until they the meeting house in Burford.
The 'spiritual and communal exercise' will follow part of the ancient Palladian Way. Letters of appeal to Boris Johnson will be posted along the way.
Organiser Caroline Lee said “Climate change is an urgent issue which affects us all and COP26 is a vital opportunity to express our concerns for the future of the planet and ask our leaders to make real commitments to urgent changes.”
