A 57-year-old Tetbury man was ordered to pay more than £1,000 after he stole a bollard from Bromford Housing Association.
Timothy Gobey, of Warns Court, Old Brewery Lane, denied the charge but was found guilty of stealing the bollard, worth £400, from the same address on July 22, 2019.
The judge at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on July 1, 2021, ordered Gobey to pay £400 in compensation, £775 in costs and a £21 surcharge to fund victim services.
The total, £1,196, must be paid by July 29, 2021.
Gobey was discharged conditionally for 18 months.
