Three masked men stabbed a 43-year-old man and robbed him in Gloucester on Sunday.

The men, wearing black face masks, stole his wallet and phone and left him injured in Baker Street at 2am.

The victim made his way back to his home address where he was later found and an ambulance was called.

Emergency services arrived at 5.20am and the man was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital by the ambulance service where he was treated for his injuries. He has since been discharged.

The three suspects were described as being black men wearing black caps, hoodies, black joggers and black trainers. 

One of the men was over 6ft tall.

CCTV enquiries are ongoing and police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or any suspicious activity in the area at the time.
