A CIRENCESTER chippy has scooped a top accolade.
This week Watermoor Fish and Chips has been awarded the prestigious 2021 Good Food Award for Fish & Chips.
A spokesman for the Watermoor team said: "We are ecstatic at winning the award and we are grateful for the amount of support from the community.
"We have worked really hard over the last year and kept open to provide for our customers.
"We will continue to serve quality fish and chips to our customers and the local people. Once again thank you so much."
A statement on the Good Food Awards website reads: "Over the last twelve months we have evaluated customer feedback and these premises have demonstrated exceptional levels of food quality, service and value when compared to our industry benchmarks in their category."
Watermoor Fish and Chips is located at 105 Watermoor Road, Cirencester.
