A blaze engulfed a transport depot in Gloucestershire on Tuesday evening.

Six fire crews attended following what one resident called "an explosion" at 9.18pm at the Richard Read depot in Longhope, Forest of Dean and police closed the A4136.

Crews from Cinderford, Gloucester North, Cheltenham, Gloucester South and Newent are still at the scene but the fire is under control.

People living in Longhope were advised to keep their windows closed to avoid the smoke.

No people were reported injured or trapped.
