Police have advised drivers to check their car’s fluid levels following a car fire near Severn Springs.
Images supplied by Gloucestershire police show a black car which has was burned beyond repair inside and out on the A432 Charlton Kings on Tuesday evening.
Officers believe the fire may have started as a result of low coolant levels.
A cars coolant system removes about a third of the engine’s waste heat by circulating fluid through the engine.
The fluid consists of a combination of water and chemicals designed to prevent corrosion to the engine.
