THE highly popular Bangers Quiz which has not taken place since the beginning of the pandemic will be be returning to the Bingham Hall in Cirencester on November 13 this year.

Cirencester's major Macmillan Cancer Support charity, which has raised more than £2million pounds since its initial launch will host the fundraiser.

The event, which attracts several hundreds of people twice each year, has been lead by chairman Jenny Jarvis since the renowned charity was launched in Cirencester.

Jenny said: "We are totally delighted we are to stage this hugely popular event yet again.

"Like so many other charities we have found it hard not to to be able fundraise for well over year for such a brilliant cause.

"As before the audience will enjoy what is expected to be a challenging night of questions, plus an excellent buffet supper.

"Tickets will go on sale soon from our committee members and we sincerely hope that besides creating a very happy evening we will be able to make a significant contribution to the Macmillan Cancer charity."

Jenny also announced that the highly popular Macmillan Christmas Fayre ,which has also been in lockdown, will be held again in Cirencester Parish on Saturday, November 20.
