CONCERNS have been raised about some people in Wiltshire having too big a gap between their first and second Covid-19 vaccine.
Government guidelines say patients should receive their second jab 12 weeks after the first but the BBC has heard of some people who are waiting for several weeks longer than that.
Gill May is the director of the clinical commissioning group for Bath, North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
She said: "I'm going to get a clear message to all our sites - that is not what we're advocating, we do need to get people booked in.
"Going over by 10 days won't dramatically change it but going beyond that would really concern me.
"So my message would be that they continue to go back to their GP and chase them up about when they will get their invite."
