THE socially distanced queue at the cake sale in aid of the children's playground resulted in the magnificent sum of £914.10 being achieved which when combined with the £200 raised by the raffle held at the same time, comes to an amazing total of £1,114.10.

Kelly Keene and her team of helpers would like to thank everyone who came to buy cakes, donated cakes and bought raffle tickets.

PARISH Communion will be at 10am on Sunday, May 9, at Driffield.

THE village hall is due to re-open the main hall from Monday, May 17, for indoor sports activities such as exercise classes; coffee mornings and social clubs with the 'Rule of 6' for indoor gatherings and business meetings with the 'Rule of 6' for indoor gatherings.

Outdoor gatherings for a maximum of 30 people will also be possible to book.

All being well the hall will fully re-open on Monday, 21 June.

Bookings are now being taken for large events and room bookings from June 21 onwards.
