A photographer was in the right place at the right time to capture these fantastic pictures of a U-2 aircraft.
Mark Moran took the photos of the US Air Force spy plane at RAF Fairford last week.
Posting on the RAF Fairford Spotters page he said: " Sometimes luck/timing is with you, sometimes not.
"Heading north on the A419 from Swindon earlier (to see the Norwegian 737s at Kemble), when just as I was approaching the Fairford exit this little beauty caught my eye off to the right.

"Indicator on, quick change of plan and a few minutes later captured these.
"Lovely to see some U-2 topside!"
