A 57-YEAR-OLD has been ordered to pay over £3,000 following unauthorised work on a listed building in Tetbury.
Matthew Wells, of Rose Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, indicated a guilty plea when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on April 21.
Magistrates heard how between September 27, 2018, and January 22, 2019, Wells executed works for the alteration of a listed building in Tetbury, namely 24 Long Street, which affected its character as a building of special architectural or historic interest .
Wells was fined £1,000, ordered to pay costs of £1912.50 and pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £100.
