A COTSWOLD woman who was caught over the drink-drive limit on Christmas Eve has been banned from the roads for three years.

Rachael Reddy, 49, Coronation Close, Chipping Campden, pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of alcohol when she appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on April 7.

Magistrates heard how on December 24, 2020, Reddy was behind the wheel of her Landrover Freelander on Coronation Close, Chipping Campden whilst she was under the influence of alcohol.

Reddy was found to have 41 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.

She also pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance.

Reddy was given a six-month curfew with electronic monitoring which prevents her leaving the house between 7pm and 7am on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's.

She was ordered to comply with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement with a responsible officer up to a maximum of 10 days.

Reddy was also ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £95 and pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
