Good morning and welcome to the first of our early morning daily bulletins, bringing you the weather, road closures, your brilliant photos of our beautiful county and more.
Weather
So first off - here's every English person's favourite topic - the weather!
It has been a cold start to the day but expect some sunny spells before the afternoon. It looks like it will turn cloudy but stay dry with some light winds.
Temperatures should remain between 0C and 11C, so don’t be fooled by the sunshine and take a jacket if you’re heading to a pub or café’s outside seating area.
Traffic and travel
On your way there, be sure to avoid the following closed roads:
- Forwood Lane, Minchinhampton - collapsed private wall
- Gruntas Lane, Harescombe – closed
- Berkeley Road – closed by Gigaclear from the Junction with Echo Lane leading to the A38. The majority of the road leading up to Taitshill remains open.
- B4234 Lydbrook - collapsed culvert
- Greenway Crossroads to Drew’s Farm, Dymock –carriageway damage
- New Road, Blakeney in the Forest - landslip
Also watch out for these roads:
- Corse End Road, Highleadon - passable with care due to damaged road surface after flooding
- Base Lane, Sandhurst - passable with care
- Blanchworth, Stinchcombe under the railway bridge - passable with care
- B4234 Lower Lydbrook – flooded yesterday
Ham Road, Tirley – flooded yesterday
Fun fact of the day!
