A new barbershop has opened in Chipping Sodbury today.

Barber Payne owned by 24-year-old Liam Payne has opened in the High Street following lockdown.

Liam took on a retail position after hanging up his scissors last year when lockdown restrictions meant all salons had to close, but after missing the hairdressing industry- he has branched out on his own.

Liam said: “I missed the art and the customers so much, I cannot wait to be back in the shop environment making people feel good about themselves.

“The lockdown gave me so much thinking time to re-evaluate where I was, where I want to be and where I was going.

“I have always aspired to be the best I can be and this feels like the natural next step for me and hopefully I can offer something else to the area.

“I have been very fortunate to work with so many incredible people over my 8 years in the industry, I would like to thank each and everyone of them so far.”

Liam’s new shop is located at the bottom of the High Street near Hatters Lane and will be offering appointments via online booking.
