The Portaloo in the Walnut Tree Field has been damaged by vandals, when they set fire to toilet rolls which, in turn, burned through other parts of the toilet unit, writes Chris Roberts.

Something that benefits many who use the Walnut Tree Field playground/skate park has once again been spoiled by people who think it is okay to be antisocial and damage other people’s property.

If anyone witnessed anything remotely suspicious between lunchtime Tuesday, February 9, and lunchtime Thursday, February 11, please contact Fairford Town Council on 01285 713326/712344 or email: clerks@fairfordtowncouncil.gov.uk.

In the meantime, the CCTV footage will be examined to see if the vandals can be identified.
