A beautiful barn owl was rescued by RSPCA Oak and Furrows in Cricklade after it was found struggling with a wing injury yesterday.

The owl was collected from a barn near Melksham by their wildlife rescue ambulance, given pain relief and taken to the avian vets.

The RSPCA Oak and Furrows Wildlife Rescue Centre rescues thousands of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife every year.

Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard:

Last year alone, more than 3000 patients passed through their doors, less than usual due to Covid-19, but the charity need regular donations to continue helping these quantities of animals and birds.
