A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary has confirmed the two men who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder yesterday remain in police custody after a 12-hour extension.
The woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on police bail to return to a station on March 5.
Police remained at the scene in Mathews Way yesterday after a man suffered a suspected stabbing in the early hours of the morning.
Two men and a woman were arrested yesterday in connection with the incident.
The victim was taken to Southmead Hospital and remains there in a stable condition.
Any witnesses, or anyone with information about the incident who has not yet spoken to police, is asked to call 101 quoting incident 18 of 6 February.
