Police in the Cotswolds have had another busy weekends handing out fines to members of the public breaching covid restrictions.
One driver in Lower Slaughter was slapped with a £200 fine after visiting the area from London. In a Tweet, Cotswold police said "the drivers excuse for the 300 mile round trip was that it was very hard to go shopping in London. £200 Day out!"
In Bourton two more tickets were handed to tourists from London and multiple warnings were given to others.
Officers are keen to remind the public, travel should be for essential reasons only.
