CIRENCESTER has a new Christmas tree after the last one blew down in stormy weather nearly two weeks ago.
Workmen and electrical engineers helped put the tree up and reattach its lights to the town centre lighting scheme this afternoon.
The first festive fir narrowly missed parked cars and pedestrians when it crashed down last Sunday, December 2. Cirencester Chamber of Commerce paid for its replacement.
