The hotel is tucked away in the city's medieval walls and the rooms come with a larder full of treats and locally-sourced snacks.

Characterful and quirky throughout, the bedroom has solid wooden floors and a four poster extra-large double bed.

Prices start at £298 for two people for a two night stay, with breakfast included and free cancellation.

The Red Lion

This newly refurbished boutique lodge style hotel in Odiham is an ideal stop for a mini-break in our own county.

Set in a historic inn the rustic charm of this hotel will leave you feeling relaxed and ready to get back to the real world. 

A two night stay in a double room costs £300 including breakfast. 

Previous customer Alexandra said it was "exactly what we needed after spending six months working from home."

Whilst Pamela said: "Loved the very appropriate RAF features and the quaint and cosy atmosphere of the hotel.

"We enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar which was again quaint and cosy. All in all we had a lovely stay in this quaint boutique hotel in Odiham - very well situated in the village centre."
