The Carpenters Arms in Miserden is the latest closed pub to join the takeaway revolution with thanks to recognised chef – Ethan Rodgers.

The chef who achieved both a Michelin Bib Gourmand and two AA Rosettes by the time he was 25 will take over the kitchen on Saturday, January 30, to offer a four course menu that he hopes will “whisk you off you off to northern Italy,” he said.

“It is one of my favourite places to go and we all are dreaming of happier and warmer times.

"We have Bagna Cauda which is vegetables and dip, followed by polenta and wild mushrooms and fresh pasta with John Haynes meatballs followed by the classic dessert, tiramisu.

“Kevin and Deb are the landlord and landlady of The Carpenters and have given me the opportunity to get back into the kitchen and hopefully treat the locals to some great cooking,” the former Lucky Onion head chef said.

The Carpenter’s Arms in Miserden is now securing orders via 01285 821283.

Orders can be picked up between 5pm and 8:30pm.
