Chedworth news with David Broad
THE parish council met this Monday by Zoom for their regular Monthly meeting and will meet again on January 25, at 7.30pm again by Zoom to set the 2021/2 budget.
Parishioners can contact chairman Mrs Ros Jess 720248 for log in details.
COMPLAINTS had been received about large rocks on roadside verges and concerns raised over potential flooding after reports of similar events in neighbouring parishes.
A number of planning refusals including an appeal refusal were also noted.
Please see the parish council website.
THE neighbourhood plan steering group met by Zoom recently and the group is hoping to get funding and assistance from Cotswold District Council to move the project forward.
FIRMLY back in lockdown mode Chedworth Silver Band is very grateful for the kind donations recently received.
Their website is now back up after some technical issues with a change of provider.
Individual members and families continue to practice but the earliest possible performance would seem to be the Good Friday walk.
The band will need time to work up a program when rehearsals can recommence but Hymn tunes should be do able without specific rehearsal.
