A Stonehouse woman who took part in robbing a couple in Gloucester Park has been jailed for two years and nine months.

Charmaine Coulson, 34, of Benton Court, Stonehouse, pleaded guilty at Gloucester Crown Court to robbery and to fraudulent use of a bank card she took from her victim.

An appeal has been launched after a man in his 50s had his cheekbone fractured in the assault at Mays Hill Industrial Estate on Friday, December 18.

Police have released a photo of a man they want to speak to after someone tried to gain access to the Thornbury home of a woman in her 90s.

A man claiming to be from the “water board” called and unsuccessfully tried to talk his way into the property at about 6pm on Monday, December 7.

Following the incident the woman's family fitted a smart doorbell, but this was damaged just days later.

Police are urging homeowners to be vigilant after an intruder gained access to homes in Dursley and Cam.

The first incident took place in Prospect Place in Dursley on December 28, at 8.30pm.

Another incident happened on Norman Hill, Tilsdown in Cam on December 29 at 2.30pm.
