A new warning for ice has been issued as the current cold snap continues.
The Met Office has a yellow weather warning for ice from midnight until 11am on Saturday.
This is in addition to the snow and ice warning in place for the rest of today.
Both cover the majority of the South West, including the whole of Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.
According to the Met Office, icy stretches may lead to some difficult driving conditions.
Cotswolds Police said there was black ice on untreated roads this morning.
An officer hit a wall while on patrol but was unhurt in the incident.
