New Year’s celebrations were muted this year due to Covid, but previously it has always been a time when locals have celebrated in style, writes Robert Heaven.
Whether it be a dance at the Beeches Centre or a supper in the Masonic Hall, Cirencester folk have certainly liked to “party”.
Hospital related events have always featured in the Standard.
Suppers and balls feature particularly but pictures of babies born on New Years Day have always been popular too.
