Huge amounts of fly-tipping has blocked the lane between Somerford Keynes and Ewen, Cirencester.
Old Christmas trees, pillows and kitchen appliances have left the country road impassable.
Dozens of residents took to Facebook to vent their anger, and police have been informed.
To report fly-tipping to the Cotswold District Council, you should make a note of the exact location, the type of waste and how much there is, and take any photographs you can without taking risks or trespassing.
The council advise not to disturb the site in case there is evidence that could lead to catching and prosecuting those responsible, nor to not touch the waste because it may include toxic chemicals, asbestos or broken glass.
