THE wife of a man who died in a three-vehicle crash on the A361 in the Cotswolds has paid tribute to the “most amazing husband and father”.

Ewen Lever, 29, from Swindon died at the scene of the accident on Wednesday, December 9.

The crash involving Ewen’s van, a lorry, and a 4x4 happened between Burford and Lechlade, near the hamlet of Signet.

A man in his 50s was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The occupants of the 4x4 were uninjured.

Ewen’s wife, Abby Lever, said: “Our Ewen, he was my everything and he was our world, the most amazing husband, daddy, son, brother and friend.

“He loved life and was the largest character and voice of any room. He truly is one in a million and loved by so many. He will be sorely missed by his wife, babies, family and friends.”

The family of Mr Lever have requested privacy at this difficult time.

The company Ewen worked for, Scitus Services, set up a JustGiving page to support Abby and her two young girls. They have raised more than £19,000.

“You really were the absolute best. I would do absolutely anything to bring you back to Abby and your girls. Our lives will never be the same without you.”

Shortly after the incident investigating officer PC Sandra Terry, of Thames Valley Police said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has died at this very difficult time.

“I am appealing to anybody who may have been in the area and witnessed this incident to please come forward.
