A VANDAL who assaulted two police constables has been given a community order.
Marley Burt, 25, of Bishop Mews, Cirencester pleaded guilty to the offences when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on November 23.
He also pleaded guilty to four further offences of vandalism.
The court heard how Burt assaulted both officers on September 11 in Gloucester.
Magistrates also heard how Burt destroyed a Maitre d stand to the value of £67.03 belonging to The Crown in Cirencester on September 16.
On the same date in Cirencester, Burt damaged a wing mirror on a Vauxhall Vectra to the value of £25 and damaged cables and a payment scanner to the value unknown belonging to Subway.
Burt also damaged the wing mirror on a black Mini without lawful excuse on July 4 in Cirencester.
He was ordered to have treatment for alcohol dependency by or under the direction of approved person at Change Grow Live for six months and participate in an accredited programme for 30 days.
Burt was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation to one of the officers, £400 to the owner of the black Mini, £67.03 to The Crown in Cirencester, and £25 to the owner of the Vauxhall Vectra.
