Last week your paper was full of letters from people moaning about the lockdown, a lot of them blaming the government. This is grossly unfair.
The fault lies with the thousands of people who refuse to take this pandemic seriously. Go into any supermarket and you will see people not wearing masks, or failing to use hand gel on entry. Walk down the street and people in pairs walking towards you will not bother to go in single file as they pass. Go for a walk on the common and you will see people from different households blatantly mixing with each other.
We have just over 2 weeks until the government assess the situation. Let's all make a concerted effort to get back to Tier1.
