A STRETCH of the M4 will be closed over the weekend for extensive resurfacing work.
The motorway will be closed both directions between Junction 8/9 for Maidenhead Junction 10 for Winnersh from 8pm tonight (Friday, November 27).
It will remain shut until 6am on Monday (November 30).
Traffic will be diverted along the A329M, A3290, A4 and A404M.
More work will be done between junctions 10 and12 (Theale) from 8pm on Friday, December 4 and 6am on Monday, December 7.
The motorway will again be closed in both directions.
The work at the start of next month will see major resurfacing as well as gantry installations and road markings.
Traffic will be diverted along the A33, B3270 and A329M.
