GARDINER Haskins in Cirencester will be closed on Boxing Day for the first time to allow staff a happy, healthy Christmas at home.
Since the store reopened in June it has seen great local support and has remained open during this second lockdown.
Steve Whitcombe, retail director, said: “It was important for us after a tough trading year to get our festive hours right for our customers but also our staff.
“Our staff have been working extra hard to keep everyone safe and our customer’s happy, so we have decided to reward that hard work with a change to the normal.
“We hope our customers are understanding of that change and look forward to welcoming them over the festive period.”
During the non-festive period the store will continue to open from 9am-5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 9am-6pm on Saturday.
They will remain closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
They will close their doors at 4pm on Christmas Eve and reopen at 9am on Monday, December 28.
To allow more customers to shop their winter sale safely they will open an extra day on Wednesday, December 30.
