Police in the Cotswolds have fined four men who were found to be travelling in the same car.
Yesterday afternoon, officers stopped a vehicle travelling in Bourton-on-the-Water.
A spokesman for Cotswolds Police said: "Four males who are known to local officers as living in separate addresses travelling in the same car have been stopped in Bourton-on-the-Water and issued with Covid 19 tickets by #Charlie9251 and #Pat2847 #£200FineInThePost."
The UK Government has shared guidance for passengers travelling in vehicles or on public transport during the coronavirus outbreak.
On the Gov website, it states: "If you are car sharing then you must not share the car with someone from outside your household or your support bubble unless your journey is undertaken for an exempt reason.
"For example, if car sharing is reasonably necessary as part of your work."
