A 31-YEAR-OLD man has been ordered to pay £300 in compensation after damaging a window in Cirencester.

Samuel Wood, of Bowling Green Crescent, Cirencester, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 20.

Magistrates heard how Wood damaged a window to the value of £300 belonging to Bromford Housing on August 15 in Cirencester.

Wood was ordered to pay compensation of £300 and fined £40.

He was also ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and to pay costs of £40 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
