THERE have been 8 more cases of coronavirus diagnosed in the Stroud district.
There were 49 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Gloucestershire recorded on Tuesday, according to the latest Government data.
Stroud saw 8 new cases on Tuesday, with 588 people now having tested positive for the virus in the district.
Public Health England is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.
