Police are appealing for information after jewellery was stolen during a burglary in Hullavington.

The incident happened between 12pm on October 21 and 10pm on October 22 while the occupant was away.

A rear glass door was smashed to gain entry to the address and a large amount of sentimental jewellery was stolen – some of which was quite distinctive.

One of the items was a heavy square link chain bracelet which was engraved with ‘Linda’ on the front and a date of birth on the back.

A Rotary watch was stolen, which is described as quite slim in design and had a gold face and black leather strap.

A number of rings were also stolen including two eternity rings and approximately 10 pairs of gold earrings.

It is possible that some of the items may have been offered for sale in the Malmesbury or Chippenham areas.
