A 20-year-old has been banned from driving for 19 months after he was charged with drink-driving in Cirencester.

Henry Cholmondeley, of Five Ashes, Mayfield pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 19.

Magistrates heard how Cholmondeley drove on St Mary's Road, Cirencester, when he was over the drink drive limit on March 6.

Cholmondeley was found to have 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.

Magistrates fined him £120 and ordered him to pay costs of £117.
