SGS COLLEGE has confirmed three new coronavirus cases at its campuses in South Gloucestershire.
Two of the cases are at its Filton campus, and one case is at SGS WISE in Stoke Gifford.
Previously there were two cases confirmed at the college's sixth form at the Filton campus, and two cases at the SGS-run Bristol School of Art in Clifton, which means there are now seven in total.
The art school students are due to return today following a period of self-isolation.
At the Filton campus sixth form, some students taking AS sociology, and one of the GCSE Maths foundation classes have been affected. They are now self-isolating until October 21 and 26 respectively.
College principal Sara-Jane Watkins issued a statement about the new cases on Monday.
She said: "For transparency purposes and to ensure clarity of message, I am writing to confirm we have had two positive Covid-19 cases reported at our Filton campus within the Construction and Functional Skills departments and one within the WSL Academy (Female Elite Academy) at WISE.
"The learners who tested positive for COVID 19 have not been in college since their test results.
"Only the Level 1 Painting and Decorating and Functional Skills Maths and English classes, and the tutors, plus the WSL Academy (Female Elite Academy) cohort, and those from Sport & Exercise Science Group A Year 1 who came into direct contact with the learner, have been asked to self-isolate for a defined period of time and will not return to College until after this period is complete."
