A CHEDWORTH pub is bringing a little bit of Oktoberfest magic to the Cotswolds with a mini Oktoberfest this weekend.

The Seven Tuns will be offering guests a unique Oktoberfest menu featuring locally sourced produce from across the South West, a Bavarian themed dining and seating area complete with log burners and of course some Bavarian music to get your feet tapping.

Co-owner of the Seven Tuns, Simon Willson-White, explains: “Our Oktoberfest-style celebration is not just about speciality beers and locally crafted ales, it’s also about celebrating good wholesome food made with local and seasonal produce.

"This year has been a tough year for everyone so this is the perfect combo for a covid compliant-knees up with a difference.

"If we can’t travel to Germany then let’s bring a bit of Bavaria to Chedworth!”

A special selection of beers and ales will be available throughout the weekend with Bavarian tankards to boot.

There will also be a special Oktoberfest menu in the a la carte restaurant as well as the pub however reservations will need to be made in advance as it will be table service only.

Tom Conway, of Nobu, Criterion on Piccadilly and The Potting Shed fame, and Simon Willson-White, formally of The Ivy and The Ritz, together converted the 17th Century Cotswold pub into a mecca for fine dining and wholesome pub grub.

The event will take place on Friday and Saturday.
